Terms and conditions

1. No purchase necessary to enter the draw.
2. The prize draw is open to all residents in the UK and Eire over the age of 18, with the exception of employees of the promoter, their immediate families and anyone else connected with this promotion.
3. Entries must be received by 1 July 2008. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible or fail to reach the promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason.
4. Only one entry per person per prize draw.
5. To enter go to the Travel Guides promotion page and click through to sign up to our newsletter by filling in your details.
6. All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw, which will take place on 8 July 2008. Winners will be selected by pulling entries at random out of a hat. The decision of the promoter as to winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The prize is 5 travel guides picked by the winner. The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative to the prize.
8. The winner will be notified by email within 4 weeks of the closing date. The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the competition rules.
9. To obtain details of the winner please email editor@dk.com stating the name of the prize draw in the subject heading 4 weeks after the closing date.
10. The promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw and delivering the newsletter, unless otherwise stated in the entry details.
11. The winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
12. By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. Prizes are subject to availability, and the promoter may in its discretion substitute prizes provided they are of similar value.
