The fact that you're expecting a baby has really
sunk in now, and hopefully the nausea and tiredness
of early pregnancy have receded or even disappeared.
What's more, you probably look pregnant now. This is
the blooming phase of your pregnancy - enjoy it!

Your body changes
This is when things start to increase rapidly - your appetite
and your bump! Having said goodbye to the nausea of the
first trimester, you may feel ravenous a lot of the time
and your clothes may feel a little tight. Pay attention
to your body's needs.

Other changes
- You're probably more energetic than in the early
weeks.
- Your bump may be just about visible.
- You may have constipation.

Facts about you:
- Your uterus is getting five times the amount of
blood pumped to it as it did before the pregnancy,
to support your growing baby.
- Your kidneys are processing 25 per cent more blood
than ususal.
- Your heart rate has increased, and its output is
30-50 per cent above its pre-pregnancy level.
- You've probably gained about 2.25-4.5kg in weight.
